Pose Rig

Skeleton + volume → OpenPose & depth maps for ComfyUI

Body

Height ft in

Sex

Realistic body (MakeHuman mesh) Cartoon (no joint limits, extreme sliders) Yoga master (limits ×1.35)

Legs

Leg length vs. height. Torso absorbs the difference so height stays put.

Proportions

Defaults come from height and sex. Each slider is a multiplier on that default.

Volume (depth map only)

Mass hung on the bones. Only the depth map sees this; the pose map is bones only.

Face (realistic body)

Models copy the mannequin's face more than you'd think. Zero is MakeHuman's default face. Cartoon triples the range.

Project

Autosaves to this browser. Poses are stored as joint angles, so a saved pose fits any body.

drag: orbit · right-drag: pan · wheel: zoom · click a joint to pose it

People

Colour

Hide

Everything below edits the highlighted person. Click any joint dot to switch to that person. Hide switches a part off in the view and in every export; stack two people and hide all but the arms of one for extra limbs. Face (blank) keeps the head but smooths the features away, for PuLID / InstantID face work. Place people with Left/right and Fwd/back under Body placement. Colour is this person's in the Mannequin and Wireframe exports; "Same as all" follows the Figure colour under Export.

Joints

Selected: none

Click a joint in the viewport or the list. Drag the rings, or use the sliders. Limits clamp unless Cartoon is on.

Hands

Hands in pose map (21-point OpenPose hands)

Fingers and the jaw move on the realistic body. Curl runs from straight to fist. Left and right can differ. Mouth open is part of the pose, so presets reset it.

Props

Simple shapes to give the model something to hold, sit on, or stick out of. Attach one to a joint and it follows the pose; leave it free and it stays put in the world. A rod's base is its attach point. Props show in the depth, mannequin and wireframe exports, never in the pose map. Right-click a prop tab to name it.

Lens (fov)

Roll

Roll spins the picture, not the body. Pose a squat, roll 90°, and the export is happy baby.

Lock aspect ratio (change one, the other follows)

Bigger is free. Same ratio, more pixels, identical framing. Most hosted models want 1024 or more on the short side.

Pose PNG is the 18-point OpenPose map (COCO order, official colors). Feed it to Apply ControlNet directly, no preprocessor.

Figure colour #d9cbb4

Lit figure on a dark ground, in the colour above (clay by default; red for a devil, blue for a mermaid, so the model starts closer to the picture you mean). For edit models without ControlNet (Venice, Copilot, chat image tools) that read inputs as pictures. Not for ControlNet.
